The best way to see the Great Barrier Reef is to sleep on it; being able to dive in the evening for night dives and early morning dives which you cannot do on a day trip is just sensational!
This liveaboard takes in 2 full days of diving on the outer Great Barrier Reef, regular reefs visited include Lodestone Reef, Keeper Reef, Broadhurst Reef, Davies Reef and Wheeler Reef. Sites chosen will be at the skippers discretion and will depend on the weather. Saving the best for last, the 3rd day includes 2 dives at one of the top 10 wreck dive locations in the world – The S.S. Yongala. Sunk over a century ago during a cyclone in 1911, the wreck is now home to an incredible array of marine life and coral.
This tour is budget accommodation with world class diving. It departs once a month, and can also be highly affected by the weather.
Day 1: Check in and drop gear off at 3:30pm. Boarding 7:30pm and departure at 8pm.
Day 2: Snorkelling, 3 day dives and 1 night dive.
Day 3: Snorkelling, 3 day dives and 1 night dive.
Day 4: 2 early morning dives at the S.S. Yongala Wreck. Returning to Townsville at approximately 4pm.

Anyone with fewer than 15 logged dives will be required to do guided dives. A guide is $10 a dive. This is mandatory due to the wreck being considered an advanced dive due to the depth and possibility of strong currents at this site.

Cancellation fees are as follows:
20% cancellation fee 30 days or more prior to departure.
50% cancellation fee if within 30 days prior to departure.
100% cancellation fee within 14 days prior to departure.
Reschedule fee of 20% applies with a minimum of 8 days notice.

• Please remember you need to allow 24 hours from your last dive before flying.
• No refunds on uncompleted dives.
• You will be required to complete a medical questionnaire before participating in any scuba activities. Some medical conditions OR medications may prevent you from scuba diving unless a current Queensland Diving Medical Certificate can be shown to the Dive Instructor. For example: heart disease, asthma, epilepsy or diabetes. If you are unsure of a particular medical condition or medication, please check with the dive organisation before booking your dive. Passengers intending to dive but restricted due to the aforementioned will not be offered a refund.
